Dragon 5013 – Messerschmitt Me P.1101 (1:72) – Vintage Military Aircraft Model Kit
Discover the fascinating Dragon 5013 Messerschmitt Me P.1101, a detailed 1:72 scale plastic model kit representing one of Germany’s most unusual experimental aircraft projects from the final years of World War II.
The Messerschmitt Me P.1101 was an advanced jet fighter design featuring innovative swept wings. Its wing angle could be adjusted on the ground, making it an important step in the development of variable-sweep wing technology. Although the aircraft never entered operational service, the nearly completed prototype was captured by American forces in 1945. Its design subsequently influenced the development of the Bell X-5 experimental aircraft.
Produced by Dragon, this model kit offers aviation enthusiasts and military aircraft collectors the opportunity to recreate a unique piece of aviation history.
The kit is in 1:72 scale and is an interesting addition to any collection of German WWII aircraft, experimental jet fighters or vintage Dragon model kits.
