Description
Dragon 5014 – 1:72 Me 1101 Nachtjäger – Golden Wings Series
Discover an unusual aircraft design from Germany’s late World War II aviation history with this Dragon Me 1101 Nachtjäger model kit. Part of the Dragon Golden Wings Series, this 1:72 scale kit represents a proposed night-fighter development inspired by the advanced Messerschmitt P.1101 jet aircraft project.
The original Messerschmitt P.1101 was an experimental swept-wing jet fighter design developed towards the end of the war. Although the proposed Nachtjäger configuration never entered operational service, it offers an intriguing alternative-history subject for aviation enthusiasts and military model collectors.
Dragon has produced a detailed plastic model featuring a cockpit with instrument panel, finely moulded components and photo-etched metal parts. The kit also includes decals and illustrated assembly instructions, providing an interesting project for experienced model builders.
Its unusual design makes this kit stand out from more familiar Luftwaffe aircraft and adds something different to a collection of German experimental aircraft and vintage Dragon model kits.
