Description
Dragon 5909 – 1:48 Fokker D.VIII & 1:12 Hans Goerth Bust
Discover a unique piece of World War I aviation history with this Dragon Fokker D.VIII model kit, part of the historic Knights of the Sky series. This vintage 1:48 scale plastic aircraft kit recreates the German Fokker D.VIII fighter, one of the final fighter aircraft to enter service with the German Luftstreitkräfte during the First World War.
The Fokker D.VIII was a distinctive parasol-wing monoplane, nicknamed the “Flying Razor” by Allied pilots. Its unusual design and historical significance make it an appealing subject for military aviation enthusiasts and World War I model aircraft collectors.
This special Dragon release also includes a 1:12 scale resin bust of German WWI pilot Hans Goerth, creating an interesting combination of aircraft modelling and historical figure modelling. The kit features detailed plastic components, photo-etched metal parts, decals and assembly instructions.
